Snap your Best Selfie in Our State Capital

Snap your best selfie in Washington state’s capital city. The region recently launched a series of “Selfie Spots” that offer the best angle and location in several iconic, historic or “secret” spots.

We all know Washington’s state capital for its iconic 287-foot dome, but courtesy of the team at Experience Olympia, visitors now have 21 designated locations to explore while in town. Visitors will now find selfie-situated signs – coined “Selfie Spots” – at scenic, historic, iconic and some even secret (until now) locations. Selfie Spots range from popular attractions like Tumwater Falls or the Kissing Statue at the waterfront to under-the-radar, locally loved locations like the Old Tenino Bank or Saint Martin’s Staircase.

Details are included on the Experience Olympia blog, along with pro tips from a New York Times photographer.
